Bike racks are available on the CityLink service.

There are two bike spaces available on each bus. Spaces are first in, first served.

Only bikes with 16” diameter, or larger, wheels are able to use the racks.

There is no charge for using the racks.

Loading and unloading the bike is the responsibility of the passenger. Before loading your bike, please remove any loose items, such as drink bottles and helmets. Always load and unload your bike from the kerbside.

Bikes are insured up to $1,500 when on the bike rack.

Bikes may weigh no more than 25kg each

Wheel sizes may only be between 16”/40.6cm and 29”/73cm/700c and up to 3”/7.62cm width

Bikes must have a maximum wheelbase dimension of  44”/111cm

Electric bikes, meeting all of the above minimum and maximum dimensions and with sealed gel, lithium Ion, or NiCad batteries are permitted.

Electric bikes with liquid lead acid batteries are not permitted.

If you are experiencing difficulty in using the bike racks inform the driver immediately
